You often listen about computer network, but what is the meaning ?,computer network is computer that connect and various acses energy source that be located in one group same. If there a computer that not connect with other computer then that computer called stand alone.

In computer network to often listen server and client. Server is center of all activity client and it duty service no matter request of client and give result come back for client. So, before created client, you must make server. Because client can’t active without server.

KIND OF NETWORK
1. LAN
LAN (Local Area Network) is network that consist by some computer. if you have two computer (pear to pear)already connect is a LAN.

2. MAN
MAN (Medium Are Network)is a network when computer mutually connect one computer between other computer more than alotof from LAN. If you have a network in building A and building B, and this network called MAN.

3.WAN
WAN (Wide Area Network)is network that have size very large, until not counted amount computer that connect. moreover WAN can beetwen country.

computer network be based on design
BUS
This topology is very simple. becase only use one cable and use terminator in tip cable. although very cheap,but BUS have very shortage. because BUS use on cable then often hapen collision data.

Ring
Ring is developing of BUS, but without terminator. until possibility collision data very minor.

Star
star is computer network that use HUB like as terminate. diferrent with BUS,in star use a server and client, therefore star very expencive. but star never hapen collision data.
